My close friend who is also my neighbor told me about this place to buy some of the items I need for my daughter who going to prom this year.  Both of our daughters are best friends and have been for about 10 years now.  So if we hear our kids sharing details that would help the other parent to know about, we always share details with each other.  It may sound like we’re ganging up on our kids, but it’s not like that at all.  We are making sure that we each know what they plan on doing.  Also making sure we understand the story correctly.  If we are not sure, then we go directly to the girls and ask them.  The girls know we do this “share the info” deal with each other and sometimes they play us.  We have had some good laughs based on our MO – the laughs are with the girls too.  Now that prom is here we have asked the girls to be straight with us and don’t make have to seek out the information. They agreed.  To reward them we are going to go out today and buy the prom favors, prom party favors and personalized prom favors.  We are co-hosting a prom party for the girls at my house.  It’s at my house because my best friend’s oldest daughter is getting married in less than 4 months, so I am trying to alleviate some of the stress by having the prom party at my house and helping her get some of the items for the wedding.  I need to pick up the wedding favors and a wedding garter and that’s good for now.

Do you love this?  My fiance wants a wedding bell or two on each pew in the church.  He wants to decorate the church.  I told he can do whatever his heart desires.  I would have to say I don’t think this is not a common occurrence having the male want to decorate, not to be sexist.  He is very helpful and supportive and I let him have his freedom of expression.   Sure hope I don’t regret the wedding bell help - too funny!  He’s wants a silver wedding bell with few other mellow colors. He asked me what I thought about wedding bell favors.  You know, I like the idea.  So we’ll work on that or should I say, he’ll probably work on that.  That means I don’t have to worry about the wedding favors because that was originally on my list, so this is a very good thing.  Let me rephrase that, my husband to be is very, very good person!

The reason I say the phrase that pays is because anything you have to do in preparation for a wedding costs money. We are buying ring bearer pillows today. I haven’t told my fiance but we are looking for unique ring bearer pillows and pillow party favors as well.  So one is for us and the others are for each guest.  I think it’s a great idea that each guest will have a pillow favor that looks just like ours.  How cute is that?  Then we will be all finished with the wedding favors too.  What great news!
